Spiralling light beams sashay off the ground,

Clearing spheres of truth on a world turned black.

Lies and mistakes may make the world go round,

But truth and innocence seem to go un-noticed

In this great big pool of mud.

 

Flying down the cascades of freedom

Are colours of multiculturality.

Do they slow its passage or help it down?

And must we know the answer?

 

I dont think this poem is quite finished, but i was bored and i kind of spewed out.

 

 

 

I know its been a while since i have written anything here, but nothing has really happened.

 

I just got back from a 6 day trip/holiday in Perth. I was really there to do a house inspection, but they dont really take 6 days.. only about an hour so for the rest of the time i got to meet up with friends.

 

Truthfully, everything didnt really go as i expected it too. I didnt really meet up with as many people as i wanted to, and i know people are busy and such, but its not as if they had no prior warning and i doubt i will be coming back anytime soon.

Most of all, the trip showed me that other people moved on since my departure, and i should too.

I thought that ever since i left perth, i've had a drop in self-esteem, i kept feeling ugly etc, but i realised that in perth i still felt that way, so it cant be perth (prolly all that yummy food in poland :P).

 

I know i sound all whiny, but good things happened too. I got to see Carly (shes probably so sick of me), and Jess and Lizzi, and Chelsea and Kristy and Jazmin and Bianca and Uyen and Andy. I would have preferred seeing more of my friends, but we cant have everything.

 

I suppose the point of this blog, is that i have realised where my home is. Before i thought it was in perth, but now i can see its not there. I am not saying that its in Brisbane. But now i know its not necessarily in perth (and at least now i dont have to feel bad about wanting to stay in brissie and do honours and post-grad study at UQ).

 

Tomorrow i am working, and i slept for abot 8 hrs today, and i am still pretty tired.

Going to try and do alot more exercise (hopefully i will be able to go swimming after work tomorrow) and lose all this extra chrissy fat.
